Can I sell a bike with custom or changed components?

Creating a Listing for a Custom Bike (No Template Available)

For custom bikes that do not match existing templates:

Select “Create your ad from scratch.” When prompted, choose this option to open a blank template for custom entries.
Detail the Components Carefully. Accuracy and transparency are essential for a smooth transaction. Buyers will examine the bike upon arrival and will appreciate detailed, honest descriptions of each component.
Set a Price for Your Bike. For custom bikes, our pricing recommendation tool is not available. However, see pricing tips here: How much is my bike worth?
Brand Not Listed? If you don’t see your bike's brand listed, send us an email with the brand, model, year, and any images via our contact form here.

If you are updating a bike listing from one of our standard templates but need to change certain components:

Edit Components During Ad Creation. Make adjustments in the “Edit components” section as you create your ad.
Editing Components After Posting. Once your ad is live, you can edit components anytime. Simply go to “Listings” in your profile, select the bike, and make necessary updates.
