How will I get paid, and when?

Learn more about the payment process on buycycle for sellers!

Shipping

1. The buyer purchases your bike.
2. You confirm the sale.
3. We collect payment from the buyer and it's held securely with our payment provider, Adyen.
4. You verify your payment details. Learn more about that here.
5. The bike is delivered, and the buyer has 48 hours to report any issues (e.g., the bike's condition doesn't match the description in your ad).
6. The buyer accepts the bike, and the money is released from our payment provider to your buycycle account.
7. You withdraw payout from your buycycle account to your bank account with just one click (approx. 3 business days).

Self-collection

All the same steps as above apply. However, payment is released to your buycycle profile once the handover has been confirmed by both the buyer and the seller. The payment will be held for legal reasons for a maximum of 3 working days before being released to your buycycle account. You can then withdraw the funds to your bank.
