Is a buyer allowed to return a bike?

With buycycle’s Buyer Protection Policy, buyers can file a claim if a bike arrives damaged or significantly differs from the listing.

When Buyers Can Return a Bike

A return may be requested if:

  • The bike doesn’t match the description.
  • Components differ.
  • The frame is counterfeit.

Tips for Avoiding Claims as a Seller

  1. Accurate Listing

Include correct specs—year, make, model, size, and condition. Missing or incorrect details lead to claims.

  2. Disclose All Issues

List all damage or wear, no matter how minor, to build trust.

  3. Clear Photos

Upload multiple photos from various angles for transparency.

Claim Resolution Process

If a claim is filed, buycycle reviews the listing, buyer’s claim, and evidence. If validated, we may request a return and refund. We’ll support both parties to find a fair solution.
