Can I cancel my sale?

Summary

Yes. As a seller, you can cancel the sale. However, canceling the sale after you've confirmed it with the buyer will result in a 150€ penalty fee.

Declining a buyer's purchase is always free.

Cancellation fee

This 150€ fee covers upfront costs paid for by buycycle, including payment transactions, packaging material and logistical costs. 

Confirmation

Once both buyer and seller confirm the purchase, the sale is considered final. Cancellation by the seller after this point will result in the cancellation fee. 

Counter offers

If seller and buyer agree on a counter offer, you both can still refuse the sale before confirmation without penalty.   

Undisclosed damages/wrong components

If you're packing the bike and you realize the bike is broken or has undisclosed damages, please contact us with proof (photos, video) of the condition of the bike. We'll reduce the cancellation fee to 50€.

If you realize your sales ad incorrectly lists components/information about the bike, the sale can be canceled. 

Delays and missed pick-ups 

If you fail to meet the delivery deadline more than 3 times, we reserve the right to cancel the sale. 

buycycle reserves the right to cancel a transaction at any time.
