Why do we ask you to verify your payment details?
We’re legally required to verify all sellers on our marketplace. This ensures that payments between buyers and sellers aren't used for illegal activities. Without verification, payments can’t be processed. Please review our payment and verification process before accepting a sale.
What information is needed?
Adyen may request the following details to verify your payment:
- Personal information: First & last name, date of birth, email, phone number, home address, and country of residence.
- Government-issued ID (passport, ID card, or driver's license)

Bank account verification (choose one):
- Link your bank's mobile app or website (instant)
- Scan & upload a bank statement (may take hours or days)
- Agreement to Adyen’s Terms of Service
Any verification documents you submit are securely encrypted and processed by Adyen. buycycle does not have access to or process these documents.

Payments on buycycle are secure and fraud-proof. In addition to Adyen's advanced fraud prevention tools, buycycle uses its own anti-fraud systems to detect and prevent any suspicious transactions instantly. We also work with law enforcement agencies to continuously improve our systems and eliminate scammers from our platform.
