What to do when you receive an offer or counter offer

When you get a counter offer, it’s best to respond quickly. You’ve got a few options:

  • Accept the offer

    The buyer can now complete the purchase at the agreed price. Once they check out, you’ll receive a confirmation to approve the sale.

  • Send a counter offer

    Not happy with the price? Send a new offer back. The buyer can then accept or respond with another offer.

  • Start a conversation

    If you have questions or need to clarify details before accepting, use the chat to message the buyer directly.

Important to know

  • Offers are not binding. A sale only becomes final once the buyer completes the purchase and you accept the sale confirmation.
  • You’ll be notified by email and see updates in your Orders or Sales section once the transaction is complete.
