What happens if my packaging is delayed?
No worries — we automatically monitor your packaging delivery and any delays that could affect your bike pickup.
If the packaging hasn’t been delivered by 3 PM one day prior to the scheduled pickup:
The pickup is automatically put on hold, the carrier is informed and will not pickup your bike on the next day.
The buyer is also informed about the packaging delay.
Once your packaging arrives:
Confirm the receipt in your buycycle profile.
Schedule a new pickup date for your bike
Delivery delays can happen, but we want to ensure you have enough time to pack your bike properly and can conveniently reschedule a new pickup date directly in your profile once you are all set.
Bike doesn’t fit in the buycycle box
If your bike doesn’t fit into the provided box, you might need to remove the handlebars or wheels to make it work.

Tips for special bike types
- Integrated handlebars? You’ll need to unbolt the handlebars if you can’t twist them sideways.
- Telescopic seatpost? Lower it completely into the frame.
What to check before shipping:
- Secure the bike: Use padding, and don’t forget brake spacers to protect the pistons.
- No parts sticking out: Make sure everything fits neatly inside the box—no bulges or overhang.
The most important thing: Pack the bike securely to prevent damage.
